DCT University Center

DCT University Center

DCT is located in the village of Vitznau, situated within the international tourism region of Luzern and on the shores of the famous Lake Lucerne. The DCT campus offers students modern, up-to-date classrooms, kitchens, restaurants and accommodations, all equipped with the latest technology to support their learning. In 2012, the DCT campus will move to equally impressive facilities in downtown Lucerne near Löwenplatz, at the edge of the city’s historic and central shopping district and in the midst of several of Lucerne’s most visited tourist attractions.

DCT offers a unique choice of academic and professional programs in both the hospitality management and culinary arts fields, including undergraduate and post-graduate diploma programs, MBA studies, and a respected American Bachelor’s Degree program. Using an innovative blend of teaching methods, DCT and Lynn University (Florida, USA) make this Bachelor’s program available entirely on the DCT campus in Switzerland.

DCT’s programs are comprehensive, yet accelerated to meet the expectations of students who want to complete a quality education in less time and at less total cost than the traditional university system. All programs are taught in English by a qualified faculty who instruct, guide and develop within students the highest standards essential for career success.

DCT is institutionally accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC) at the diploma level; Lynn University is accredited at the degree-granting level by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS). The educational excellence of DCT’s programs is also recognized through accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP); the European Culinary Arts program was one of the first programs, and the only one outside of the US, to be awarded “Exemplary Program” accreditation status by the American Culinary Federation (ACF).
